Tim Smith, PharmD, opened P3 in 2010. He has held leadership positions at the local and state levels. In addition to guiding the pharmacy program as Director of Pharmacy at a major hospital system, he is the past President of the Tennessee Society of Health-System Pharmacists. In 2004, he was recognized as the Tennessee Health-System Pharmacist of the year. As a hospital pharmacy director, he supported acute care patients, outpatient infusion clinics, oncology, women’s health, transplant, anticoagulation clinics, bone marrow transplant, and emergency medicine. His passion is delivering excellence in clinical pharmacy with a focus on complex therapies. He has mentored many young pharmacists through the various university pharmacy residency programs in Tennessee and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at South College in Knoxville, TN. Tim received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy in 1990.
